About the Typeface
Costa California was inspired by the typed used in the 1980's California license plate. It has many geometric shapes while maintaining an art deco aesthetic. It is definitely a nod to the classic retro California lifestyle.

About the Designer
Christian Rafael Garcia is a first generation Mexican American who's designs are heavy inspired by his life and upbringing. He takes inspiration from the world around him and things he relates to. Christian began diving into design in 2018 and continued to grow a passion for design. He is volunteers in his community and works alongside organizations to advocate for others in his community to better themselves and the environment.
