Beta Club

BETA CLUB G.P.A. REQUIREMENT:

All students earning an overall G.P.A. of a 3.5 were invited to join Beta Club.  Beta Club members must maintain a 3.5 G.P.A. at all times.  Any member falling below a 3.5 has a probationary semester to regain the 3.5 G.P.A.  If after a probationary semester a Beta Club member fails to regain a 3.5, permanent dismissal will result. 

BETA CLUB DUES REQUIREMENT:

All junior (Class of 2028) and senior (class of 2027) members of SMHS Beta Club are asked to pay yearly dues of $25 by Friday, September 18 (unless you joined Beta Club in May).   Dues can be paid by check (made out to SMHS) and turned in to Mrs. McNally in Room 617 or by using this link on MySchoolBucks. 

BETA CLUB MEETING REQUIREMENT:

Beta Club will meet on the following dates: (8:05 am or 3:50 pm)

         August 20 January 21

September 17 February 11 

October 8 March 18

November 12 April 15

December 10 Monday, May 11 

In order to remain an active member of Beta Club, you must attend four of the five meetings each semester, unless you bring a school-approved excuse note to a sponsor.  There is a Beta Club table in the back of Ms. Peavyhouse’s room with agendas and other forms on it.  Only one meeting per day is required.
