Tiffany Harrison is the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Director of Finance for the 747 and 767 Programs within The Boeing Company’s Commercial Airplanes (BCA) division, a business unit of The Boeing Company Incorporated. In this role, Harrison is responsible for Financial Planning, Financial Operations, and Estimating & Pricing for both programs. She is responsible for the overall profitability, talent and financial management for the 767 and 747 airplane programs.
Previously from 2014 through 2017, Harrison served as the chief financial officer for The Boeing Company’s Test & Evaluation (BT&E) division, part of the Engineering, Test & Technology organization. Harrison was responsible for providing finance leadership and business management oversight to support the BT&E business strategy, developing long-range business plans, monitoring program execution and overall fiduciary responsibility for Boeing’s laboratory and flight test assets.
From 2011 through 2014, Harrison also served in roles as CFO & director of Finance for The Boeing Company’s P-8 Navy programs (US and India), Finance director for the Airborne Warning and Control System and Airborne Early Warning & Control fleets of the United States, NATO, Japan, France, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Korea, U.K. and Australia.
She has also held various Finance senior management positions on the Boeing 787 Program in Charleston, South Carolina, as well as, the VC-25A (Air Force One) and VIP military derivative Boeing programs located in Wichita, Kansas. Harrison was selected and served as a Corporate Enterprise Auditor within Boeing’s Office of Internal Governance organization from 2002 through 2004.
Harrison joined The Boeing Company in 2001, as a Senior Strategic Analysis Specialist within Boeing’s Air Traffic Management (ATM) business unit located in McLean, Virginia. Her primarily responsibilities included developing competitor assessments and maintaining relationships with multi-disciplinary functions consistent with overall ATM goals and strategy.
Before joining The Boeing Company, Harrison served in several financial and marketing leadership positions at US Airways, Incorporated from 1997 through 2001. While at US Airways, Harrison was a senior analyst within revenue management and operations analysis located within their Virginia and Pennsylvania corporate offices.
Harrison currently serves as The Boeing Company’s executive sponsor for the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) and sits on NABA’s Corporate Advisory Board. She has been a NABA Lifetime member since 2013. Additionally, she is an active member of the University of Virginia’s Jefferson Scholars Program for the Seattle Regional Selection Committee.
A Danville, Virginia native and a GWHS graduate, Harrison holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, also from the University of Virginia. Harrison resides in Seattle, WA and enjoys traveling, mentoring, and spending quality time with her husband, Jonathan. Tiffany is the daughter of Ms. Carnell (Connie) Harper Harrison & Mr. Charles Harrison.

Schoolfield Elementary’s Parental Involvement theme for 2019-2020 is “Focus on the Family.” Their first program was Grandparents Edition; these events took place on Thursday, September 5th with K-2 Grandparents and Friday, September 6th for 3-5 Grandparents. At Schoolfield, they know that it takes all stakeholders to nurture and drive the success of our students and they pride themselves on having everyone actively involved. Our ESL student Mercedes Vargas Perez recently attended the Naturalization Ceremony in Roanoke, VA. At the ceremony, Mercedes recited the Oath of Allegiance which was the final process of becoming a U.S. citizen. Mercedes is from Mexico, and you might remember her from an ACEC post last year when she obtained her GED Diploma. She is a pretty amazing young woman!

The Danville Special Education Advisory Council held their first meeting on Tuesday, September 10th with guest speaker, Dianne Harr, of Danville TOPSoccer. New DPS Director of Exceptional Children, Mr. Anu Upadhyaya, spoke as well, sharing a presentation with the Council. Special thanks to Michelle Bloomer, GW art instructor, for sharing art made by GWHS Special Education students, which was featured at July's Art on the Lawn at the Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History. 8th grade students at Westwood learned about integers today in Ms. Fuller's math class by sorting different numbers based on integer characteristics. After placing the numbers in the T-Chart, students were able to edit their work by going up to the board and changing any numbers that were wrong as long as they could explain why they changed it.

In an effort to increase community engagement, specifically with our students, DPS is partnering with the Danville Police Department on an exciting initiative. Please see the below flyer in regard to a student's opportunity to attend a local sporting event with a police officer at no cost to the student. Sylvia Brooks, the Youth Engagement Corporal for DPD, is the coordinator of the event. She has reached out to some Principals personally to discuss. For those not contacted yet, she will reach out soon. Students are selected by the Principal after their names are put in drawing based on good behavior.
