On Thursday, May 26, 2022, Mrs. Snead and Mrs. Whitlow's students celebrated National Paper Airplane Day by having their students research to find what they thought was the best airplane design to create. They then decorated their planes so that they were identifiable. Afterwards, the students competed against each other to see whose airplane went the furthest. Each student was able to throw their aiplane twice. After their first flight, students were able make adjustments to their airplane for a final throw. This hands-on activity integrated math, science, computer science, engineering, and more!
