Jacob Colandria cried tears of joy when he got the PlayStation 4 he wanted. The 8-year-old Schoolfield Elementary second-grader won the game system for selling more than 1,000 candy bars in two weeks as part of a school fundraiser. “I made my wish come true,” he said of his achievement.
He sold more candy bars — 1,017 of them at $1 each — than any other student. That would be an accomplishment for any child. But Colandria is not just any child — he is autistic. Click here for full Register and Bee article. Photo courtesy of the Register and Bee.
