I had the opportunity to do a book read at the Ruby B. Archie Public Library this week as part of their Goodnight Hometown series. I had a blast! I read "Rosa Parks (My Itty-Bitty Bio)" by Emma Haldy, and illustrated by Jeff Bane. Stop by the library and pick up a copy of one of the many great titles they have about Rosa Parks' stand 64 years ago. If you are interested in participating and reading one of your favorite books, let me know or contact Russell Carter at carterr@danvilleva.gov. #GoodnightHometown
