Noblis presented a $5,000 check to GW’s NJROTC Cyber Patriot Team on Friday, Dec. 6th. In addition to the financial support, Noblis also donated equipment such as monitors and iPads. The donation will help provide the team with the opportunity to establish permanent cyber-training labs.
Cyber Patriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cyber security and other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation’s future.
At the core of the program is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, the nation’s largest cyber defense competition that puts high school and middle school students in charge of securing virtual networks.
Located in the Tobacco Warehouse District, Noblis is an independent, nonprofit organization with a proud tradition of serving federal clients objectively and with the highest caliber of scientific and technical excellence. Their work makes an impact on the civil, defense, and intelligence missions that ensure our nation’s vitality and security.

Last year, Kristen Baggerly (Science teacher at GWHS), taught in West Africa at Dakar Academy (a missionary high school) in Senegal. She still keeps in touch with a few friends there and has been telling them all about GWHS and the students.
In talking and sharing with some former students about finals coming up, Ms. Baggerly expressed how our GW students are always in need of love and support, especially during testing! So....some of the students at the Dakar Academy decided to make a little video for OUR STUDENTS!!! Wishing them good luck on finals and letting them know they are cared for.
Here is the link to the video.
In case you or your students didn't know - you are loved and supported all around the world! Thank you GWHS staff for all your hard work and dedication! We can make it!

MISS, INC. Mentorship Girls Program at Schoolfield Elementary collected and distributed personal items, blankets, goodies bags etc. to Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on 11/22/19 as community service projects giving back to our community. The nursing home had over 300 residents and 8 sections. Students were able to give items to all residents and leave some for another day. They also had the pleasure of celebrating a 100th birthday with Kay Dodson who is a resident of the nursing home. They sang Christmas Carols and smiled with all the residents.
We would like to give a big thanks to Mrs. Theresa Hawker, Activity Coordinator at Roman Eagle Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, for allowing us to celebrate this special moment with them.
