Danville Public Schools in partnership with the City of Danville and Goodwill Industries launched the Summer Youth Internship today for DPS students. Students will be placed in internships, receive transportation assistance and have the opportunity to gain valuable workplace skills. In addition, the school district will provide soft skills training prior to job placement and the chance to earn a National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC), which is being paid for through the Institute for Advanced Learning and Research.
