Create Groups (Categories)
From the assignments page, Click + Group
Enter the name of a group (e.g., Tests, Quizzes, Homework, Projects, Labs, etc.)
Drag assignments into the correct group
Weight Groups (Categories)
From assignments, click the three dots in the top right.
Select Assignment Group Weights
Check the box next to "weight final grade based on assignment groups"
Type in group percentages, then save.
What can SpeedGrader do for you? Quite a lot!
This tool allows you to view and grade students' submissions in one centralized location using a simple point scale or a complex rubric. It supports various document formats and URLs, allowing direct markup on some documents for feedback. You can leave text or media comments, sort submissions by student, hide student names for anonymous grading, and view submission details, including resubmissions. You can also track your grading and manage the visibility of grades.

Click the assignment name from the "Coming Up" list on your course Home page.

From your gradebook, click the three dots near the assignment name, then select SpeedGrader

setting up assignment groups and weights
navigating the gradebook (i.e., sorting, exporting and importing)

options for displaying grades to students
editing due dates in bulk
using the SpeedGrader (i.e., grading, providing feedback, annotating student's work, using rubrics, etc.)
