LIS 10

Welcome!

LIS 10 is an online, asynchronous course that includes a variety of readings, assignments, quizzes, activities, and discussion posts due on the due dates each week. During the course, students learn tools to help them research, select, evaluate, and cite different information types using appropriate citation format. The final project for the course is an annotated bibliography, which is a list of 6 academic-quality sources on a topic of your choice, with a paragraph evaluating each source using criteria that you will learn in class.

This requires some effort-- but I promise that it will serve you well throughout your entire college education!

This Fall 2018 section of LIS 10 runs from 10/22-12/14. The CRN is 78714. 9 week class, 1.0 unit

LIS 10 is taught completely online using Canvas. There will be an optional online orientation during the first week of class. Check the course on Canvas on the first day of class to see when the orientation will be scheduled.
