Welcome to Summer 2019!

Hi! I'm Leila and I will be your teacher and collaborator in your online educational journey this summer. I've loved literature since before I could read, when I would memorize books and pretend to "read" them even when the book was upside down. Besides teaching literature, creative writing, and composition at City College, I love to dance and hang out with my friends and my four children. I try to maintain an attitude of wonder toward ideas and art forms--I hope you get a sense for that from my photo on this page.

Current Classes

For summer 2019, I will be teaching English 1B online.
