Hello and Welcome! My name is Alex Glasser I have a bachelors in Atmospheric Science and Communication and a masters in Atmospheric Science. My concentration through my bachelors was broadcast meteorology, and through my masters model analysis of the HRRR (High-Resolution Rapid Refresh). Like all other saine individuals; after completing their education I came right back to school for even more. I am now currently pursuing a masters in STEAM Education through Adelphi and the New York City Teacher Fellows. Through this summer’s intensive program, I have taken part in two courses, Maker Deign Lab 1, and Urban Education. The works presented throughout this webpage highlight the variety of project I explored and created during the program. My new goal is to become a science educator this coming fall; I feel this career will be extremely fulfilling for me as I have always wanted to give back through my love of the sciences.
A Little More About Me:
My partner and I adopted Mochi from a shelter in Schenectady in October of 2025. Mochi has revitalized our want to explore the world around us, bringing her hectic puppy energy with us on our journey.
Through our return to exploration I have returned to my love of photography. Specifically I love the idea of juxtoposition in my works, and the natural and unatural which occurs in the world around us.
Through my studies I have realized that meteorology is as much of a art is an science. A delicate process of hundreds of components coming togther to form the collective daily experinces for all.
