The first day of tryouts is Tuesday, August 20, 2019. During tryouts we will be meeting on the tennis courts everyday Mon-Fri. from 9:00 am-12:00 pm (rain or shine). It is vital you are at every practice the first two weeks. You are required by the state to have six practices before the first match. If you're away during tryouts, you cannot be on the team.

Before the season starts, you need to take care of a few important items.

  1. Get cleared through the nurse and complete necessary athletics forms. This requires a physical examination by a doctor and completion of paperwork. Sign in at FamilyID to complete the necessary forms. To submit, drop off or send them to the school nurse, Attention: Mrs. Karst.
  2. The school physician will be available on 5/30, 6/4 and 6/6 from 8:30 am-2:00 pm to complete physicals and all physical forms needed. This service is free of charge and performed on a first-come, first served basis.
  3. Check your personal calendar against the tennis schedule. You are going to be part of a team, and your teammates will count on you to support them. Check now for any conflicts .
  4. If you are not cleared to practice on the first day of tryouts, you will not be allowed to tryout. Make sure you are cleared to play tennis on Tuesday, August 20th. If you're away during tryouts, you cannot be on the team.

* We are looking for players that are 100% committed to the team.

* Train in the off-season. Use the time to prepare yourself for the upcoming season. Run, lift and play, play, and play tennis.
