The Influence of Music on the People

Musical artists can have a large influence on their listeners, especially younger listeners. Whether it is the way they project the message in the music, or what they make music about. Many artists can tug a person's emotional strings, or make the listener feel that he is dealing with the same problems as the artist. A rapper who recently passed away, XXXtentacion, had a large influence on the young people and his core audience. His former girlfriend is where most of the controversy came from. She accused the artist of beating her to a point in which she was not able to identify. He was later sent to jail for these claims.

There were several memorials held after this passing, including a Hollywood star in California. Most of the memorials held were shut down because of rioting and the fans getting out of control. He started as an underground artist but quickly rose to the top, being remembered in this generation as some sort of saint. Although he was under fire for controversies including his past spouse, the young people find comfort in his music and ultimately miss him and other artists when they pass away.
