Welfare for International Student

Health Insurance for International Student only.

International student Their is don't right to basic medical care from the government. Mahidol University therefore provides health insurance for students to replace their basic rights, together with the university's health services that cover medical and dental care at the university's hospitals and network hospitals. The insurance policy provides coverage as follows:

1. คุ้มครองกรณีเสียชีวิตทุกรณี
2. คุ้มครองกรณีผู้ป่วยใน
- ค่าห้องและค่าอาหาร / วัน (สูงสุด 31 วัน)
- ค่าห้องผู้ป่วยหนัก ICU (สูงสุด 7 วัน)
- ค่ารักษาพยาบาลอื่นๆ (ค่ารถพยาบาล / ต่อการเจ็บป่วย / ต่อเที่ยว)
- ค่าผ่าตัด
- ค่าเยี่ยมของแพทย์ จำนวน 1 ครั้งต่อวัน สูงสุด 31 วัน
- ค่ารักษาพยาบาลผู้ป่วยนอกฉุกเฉิน (กรณีอุบัติเหตุ) เข้ารักษาภายใน 24 ชั่วโมงหลังจากเกิดอุบัติเหตุ และรวมการรักษาต่อเนื่องภายใน 31 วัน
- ค่าปรึกษาแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญเฉพาะโรค
3. คุ้มครองกรณีผู้ป่วยนอก จำนวน 1 ครั้งต่อวัน ไม่เกิน 30 ครั้งต่อปีกรมธรรม์

Health insurance benefits for International Students Mahidol University.
1. Protection in case of death.
2. Protections Inpatient Health.
- Expenses for room and meal per day. [Max 31 days]
- Expenses for intensive care unit (ICU) [Max 7 days]
- Other medical expenses such as ambulance fee. (Per case)
- Sugical expenses.
- Doctor visit fee, once per day [Max 31 days]
- Emergency medical expenses in case of accident. (within 24 Hours after accident and included continuous treatment within 31 days.)
- Medical specialist consultation fee.
3. Protection Outpatient Health (OPD) per visit [Max 30 days]

Medical Expense Claim Guidelines

In case that student takes Group Claim Form to hospital.

Student Fill in Group Claim form (Part I only) download file click!!
Doctor fill in Group Claim form (Part II or Part III) and stamped hospital logo.
If hospital can direct Fax Claim to health insurance company, the hospital will keep that document for another proceeding later. or hospital cannot direct Fax Claim to health insurance company, student must advance all health care fee firstly, then attach receipt, medical certificate, copy of passport and a copy of book bank account (Bank in Thailand only) with a certified copy, along with the phone number and email in the document completely, and send the documents to:
- Health Care Unit where faculty determines. or
- Mahidol Health Care Unit at 1st floor, Mahidol learning Center building, Salaya. but graduate student please contact student affairs at graduate studies building, Salaya.

In case that student doesn't take Group Claim Form to hospital.

Student must request medical certificate from the hospital on that day and must advance all health care fee firstly.

Attach receipt, medical certificate, a copy of passport and a copy of book bank account (Bank in Thailand only) with a certified copy, along with the phone number and email in the document completely, and send the documents to:
- Health Care Unit where faculty determines. or
- Mahidol Health Care Unit at 1st floor, Mahidol learning Center building, Salaya. but graduate student please contact student affairs at graduate studies building, Salaya.

Note:

Once the process is complete, the company will transfer the medical expenses to the attached bank account and send an email to inform the students.
Please send documents for medical expenses claim within 3 months (from the date of service). If the deadline is exceeded, will not be able to claim medical expenses.
