Meet LEA (Learning and Exploring AI) is a digital safety and awareness initiative by Google designed for primary students (Grades 3 to 5) and beginner-level teachers across grades. The programme introduces the fundamentals of AI while guiding participants on its appropriate and responsible use, with a strong focus on nurturing safe, informed and responsible digital citizens. It helps participants: 

• Introduces AI in a simple, age-appropriate manner for young learners and teachers at a beginner level 

• Builds foundational understanding of what AI is and how it works in everyday tools to support learning and productivity

Launched in April 2026 onwards, it has reached 2,800+ teachers.
