Beat Tap is a mobile rhythm game for Android and iOS. This policy explains what information the app uses, why it is used, and the choices available to players.
Information stored on your device
Campaign progress, timing calibration, Beat Lab charts, replay tapes, preferences, sound selections, Relay Cup records, and locally selected music files are stored on your device. Music files selected for Beat Lab are used locally and are not uploaded by Beat Tap.
Optional account and community features
If you choose to sign in, Beat Tap uses an account identifier and display name to publish community charts, record leaderboard scores, save ratings, and process moderation reports. Sign-in is optional for the offline campaign. Community chart data may include a chart title, short description, BPM, difficulty, and note-timing data.
Advertising
Beat Tap includes Google AdMob banner advertising. Google may process device information, approximate location, advertising identifiers, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, and protect ads under its own policies. Where required, the app presents Google's consent flow before requesting ads. On iOS, Beat Tap requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before initializing ads that may access the advertising identifier (IDFA). If permission is granted, Google may use device identifiers for third-party advertising and advertising measurement. If permission is denied or unavailable, Beat Tap requests non-personalized banner ads.
In-app purchases
Optional one-time purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store and coordinated through RevenueCat. Beat Tap receives purchase entitlement status to unlock optional content; it does not receive your full payment method details.
Media and scorecard exports
Beat Tap does not request photo-gallery access for normal gameplay or scorecard exports. Relay Cup scorecards are created in the app and offered through your device system share sheet. You independently choose where to save or share an export. Device-selected audio is used locally for Beat Lab and is not uploaded.
Data sharing and retention
Beat Tap does not sell personal information. Information is shared only with the providers needed to operate selected features, including Google AdMob for banner advertising, RevenueCat for purchase entitlement management, and the community and leaderboard service when you use online features. On iOS, device identifiers are used for third-party advertising and advertising measurement only after you grant App Tracking Transparency permission. Local data remains on your device until you remove it or uninstall the app.
Request account and data deletion
You may request deletion of an optional Beat Tap account and associated community-chart, rating, report, leaderboard, and achievement records by emailing love2uhh@gmail.com with the subject Beat Tap data deletion request. Include the account email address or player display name used to sign in. We will verify the request and delete or anonymize applicable account and community records. You can delete device-local gameplay data at any time by uninstalling the app.
Age suitability and contact
Beat Tap is intended for teens and adults age 13 and older. It does not contain gambling, violence, or mature language. You can play the offline campaign without signing in, manage advertising consent through your device or the app consent flow, restore purchases through the in-app store, and remove local data by deleting the app. For privacy questions, contact love2uhh@gmail.com.
