MICHAEL FOUST FOR MAYOR
“Lead with Love. Stand Tall.”
ABOUT MICHAEL
Michael is a Tallahassee-built leader, small business owner, and strategist who believes City Hall should work as hard as the people it serves. I have worked inside the state of florida systems serving the State Data Center and the Executive Office of the Governor's office IT serving all citizens of Florida by empowering the agencies who serve.
Entrepreneurial Roots: Started his first business in elementary school; selling golf balls in middle school; by high school, he was running a computer repair operation and moving furniture for older folks.
Tallahassee Resident: Moved here in 2002 to attend FSU (B.S. Psychology) and has spent over two decades building his family and career in this community.
Operational Expert: Served the State of Florida in key roles at the Department of Environmental Protection, the State Data Center, and the Executive Office of the Governor before moving into private consulting.
Michael is removing money from politics. It takes a village to elect a mayor, not a fortune. I promise my lean campaign is beholden to no party, no donors, nothing but principles and a desire to serve this city with compassion and unwavering optimism.
THE VISION: Restore Tally’s Morale & Motivation
Michael believes in this city and its people, the scrappy nature of the unconquered swamp land we all love.
Unified City Services: Implementing "one-stop" systems—reliable online portals and real people on the phone—so residents can handle city business in one place.
Strategic Partnerships: Leveraging state, federal, and private resources to maximize local impact and safety. Save enormous spending by consolidating city and county duplicative services.
Economic Growth: Supporting entrepreneurs and creating opportunities for existing businesses to mentor, grow, and give back. Community centers for every neighborhood, youth and senior and inbetween.
Safety & Infrastructure: Prioritizing life when policing. Training citizens on maintaining dignity in police interactions. Hiring and assigning law enforcement to home neighborhoods. Simpler, better parks, more shade, fields and courts.
