The first day we arrived at Stansted airport from Bergamo, after one hour and a half, at about lunch time. Before lunch, our teachers assigned us a task that consisted in creating a short video with a specific moment of the day. In fact, while we were waiting for the train we ate some food together. After lunch we took the train that brought us to the underground. When we arrived at the station of Baron’s Court we went to our hotel “Premier Inn”, where we put our luggage.
After that, we started our tour of the city of London! We walked to Cleopatra's Needle, the Egyptian Obelisk. Then we moved to Trafalgar Square, where we saw the “National Gallery” from outside and we took some pictures. There, we had some great strawberries with chocolate!
We walked to Buckingham Palace where we took some pictures. There was a beautiful sun and a perfect light for our pictures. The roads were crowded with tourists like us, who were there to appreciate the magnificence of English royalty. After Buckingham Palace we went to St. James Park, where we walked and we saw some animals, like squirrels 🐿️. Before going to the hotel we made a last stop, we saw Big Ben and Parliament from outside and also here we took some beautiful pictures together. We took the underground and finally, we came back to the hotel and we had dinner all together. We were all really tired from the journey, so we went to sleep quite early 😅. Anyway, it had been a great day and a beautiful way to start our school trip!
