Reading Skill/Strategy: main idea and details, summarizing

Whole Group Text: The Unbreakable Code This is one title of the several sets of class picture books that we will be using this year.

Grammar: types of sentences, complete sentences

Spelling: Spelling words with prefix pre and vocabulary words, S/V Menu due Friday

Writing: memoirs and writing process

40 Book Challenge Letters: Read 30 minutes/night, no letters due this week.

World Cultures: 50 States Slide Show Project due 11/30/19

Tests: Friday we will test spelling/vocabulary, grammar, and The Unbreakable Code.

Other Notes of Interest:

-September 10th: staff vs.student kickball, permission slip was sent home last week

-September 13th: progress reports go home
