Reading Skill/Strategy: text structure (second week)

Whole Group Text: several articles, cold read test

Grammar: Pronouns: indefinite, possessive and reflexive

Spelling/Vocab: Week 12 root port, menu due Friday

Writing: descriptive writing using figurative language

40 Book Challenge Letters: Read 30 minutes/night, letters NOT due this week

World Cultures: 50 States SlideShow Project due 11/30

Tests: Friday we will test spelling/vocab and a cold read passage

Other Notes of Interest:

-Sawyer's visiting days will be Monday, Tuesday and Friday this week

-Picture Retakes are 11/19

-Progress Reports go home 11/20

-Thanksgiving Lunch 11/21, Fifth grade lunchtime is 11:00-11:35

-Hugs and Kisses Assembly is 11/21
