Tips and Payment Options

Using the Madison Music Boosters' online store means there are no forms to fill out and send back to school, even if you're paying by cash and check. It also makes it easier for you to pay by credit card, or use money in your account from previous fundraisers.

Please note that all items ordered must be picked up at designated times and locations. Although we're using online ordering, we're not a full-time business, and we won't be shipping items to you.

Please note the order deadlines. We're all volunteers, not paid employees, so redoing all our work to accommodate late orders is not practical. Late orders will not be accepted.

Using the Charms Online Store

  1. After reading these instructions, click the button at the bottom of the page to enter the store.
  2. Once you're there, select the items you wish to purchase, and choose your sizes and quantities to add to your shopping cart.
  3. When you're ready to checkout, click the green Logon to Checkout button .
    • If you're a Band or Choir student or parent and you already have a Charms account (you probably do, even if you've never used it), click the red button and enter your Charms password. It's either your school student ID number (if you've never logged into Charms before), or a password you made up when you previously logged in. (If you have trouble logging in, email joel.brown@madisonmohawks.org and ask for your password to be reset to the student ID number.
    • If you've never had a Charms account, no problem! Click the green button and follow the directions to create your own Charms shopping account.

Note: Disregard any messages you may see indicated the item is on backorder. We do not order merchandise until we receive payment, so everything is backordered. All our deadlines and delivery dates take this into account.

Pay with your credit or debit card

When you have all your items in your shopping card, pull down the Choose a Payment Option menu and select PayPal, our credit card processor. You do not have to log in or create a PayPal account; when you get to the PayPal page, you can click the Pay with Debit or Credit Card button without logging in, and continue to pay with your card.

Use your fundraising balance

If you or your student has participated in a past fundraiser, you can use your balance in Charms to pay for your purchase.

  1. When you have all your items in your shopping card, pull down the Choose a Payment Option menu and select Bill and Print.
  2. Once you place your order online, you'll be taken to the Online Purchase History page. Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of your order to see and print your order invoice.
  3. Write a note on the printout: Pay from fundraising balance.
  4. Take the printout to school and put it in the secure drop box in the band room, and we'll transfer the money from your fundraising account. (If you can't print the invoice, write a note with the student's name and the order number or total amount of the order, and ask us to pay from fundraising balance. That will be enough for use to find the right order.)

Pay with cash or check

  1. When you have all your items in your shopping card, pull down the Choose a Payment Option menu and select Bill and Print.
  2. Once you place your order online, you'll be taken to the Online Purchase History page. Click the magnifying glass icon to the right of your order to see and print your order invoice.
  3. Put this printout in an envelope along with your payment (cash or check made out to Madison Music Boosters). Then just bring it to school and put it in the secure drop box in the band room. (If you can't print the invoice, write a note with the student's name and the order number or total amount of the order, and put it in the envelope with your payment. That will help us match your payment to the correct order.)
