Student Council Member Expectations
Members represent all students as the Student Council. Therefore, they will treat the faculty/staff, student body & community at-large with respect at all times.
Members must maintain a C or better in all academics, work habits, and conduct.
Members must exhibit academic integrity.
Attendance at Student Council meetings is critical to the group’s success. A note of excuse to the advisors should be given before a Student Council member misses a meeting (email is acceptable).
Student Council meetings will be on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 7:30 am.
Participation in service projects and community events is also critical. Therefore, participation in events and service opportunities is expected and potential conflicts should be considered before applying to Student Council. A note of excuse to the advisors should be given before a member misses any community service or event (expected 1 event per quarter plus Spring field trip).
Student Council members are expected to be role models and exhibit positive behavior and proper dress code at all times including at school sponsored events that take place off campus.
If a student wishes to resign from the Student Council, the faculty advisor must be notified in writing.
