Welcome to Second Grade

 ¡Hola! My name is Kory Burnham, and I'm so excited to be part of the Madison Heights community for my seventh year of teaching. I began my journey in education by student teaching at Simis Elementary and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education from Northern Arizona University in December 2018.

I’m also a proud Madison District parent; my daughter, Eliannah, is currently in seventh grade. This past spring, my family grew by one more with the arrival of our newest member, Navy, who is now four months old. In our free time, we love to travel and cherish time spent with our extended family.

Hi! My name is Marybell Mendoza, and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. 

I’ve been teaching for 10 years and love helping students grow both academically and personally. When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am married and have three children.

 This will be my 7th year teaching Spanish Immersion at Heights after a 3-year hiatus. I am happy to be back, and I am really looking forward to working with Mrs. Burnham this year and getting to know your families.
