MVCC Dual Credit Expectations

Registration 

You will enroll in the MVCC course for college credit.  However, you must earn a C or higher in order to earn the credits.

Academic Integrity

Cheating and plagiarism will NOT be tolerated.  Any student caught cheating will be given a zero on the assessment they were caught cheating on.  This includes copying from another student (or having them do the work) and the use of apps such as Photomath.  Watch this video on academic integrity.

Attendance

Attendance is very important because the curriculum moves at a quick pace.  While this class is transitioning to a self-paced course, you are still required to complete and submit specific things each day.  Students are allowed 6 absences for the semester (marking period 1 and 2 together).  The seventh absence will result in the student’s MVCC grade to be reduced by one letter grade.  Before the seventh absence students have the ability to make up missed classes by contacting me.  Absences for school related functions or with a doctor note will not count.  If you are going to be absent, please contact Mrs. Barrett as soon as possible.
