Book Cover Design Process

Inspiration: I own this book. I love reading it. It's my favorite book so I decided to use this book.

Tools:  I used Canva to design the book cover. I did a Google Search to find the original book cover and snipped the book cover from the image search.

Creative Process: I started in Canva with a blank poster. To create my book cover, I used a railing because in a scene in the book the little girl loses her toy rabbit on a boat. I used a hand to show the little girl dropping the rabbit toy in the water off the boat. I searched up an image of a sea and finally the toy rabbit to place in the water.

Use of Existing Content:  I used stock photos from Canva that our school has a subscription for teacher and student use.

Inspiration: I drew it myself based on my own imagination after reading the book. 

Tools:  Sketches School, Canva, iPad, Stylus, Google Classroom

Creative Process: 

1. I decided what I wanted to draw.

2. I drew and colored it in the Sketches School app.

3. I imported my drawing into Canva and added the title and author text.

Use of Existing Content:  None, I only used my original artwork.
