The 2026 MACS Talent Show is March 26th!

MACS TALENT IS NEXT LEVEL!

 Performances are at 1:45pm (school) and 5:30 pm (families)

Here's what to know:

• Auditions will begin the week of February 16th and will take place during your music classes.

• Students in grades 3, 4, and 5 are invited to audition.

• To the audition, students must bring a signed form. Forms are available through Mrs. Teasley.

• Performances should be under 3 minutes.

• We want to showcase a wide range of student talent. What can you do that you want to share with the school? Some ideas are:

  • • Dancing, playing an instrument, reciting poetry, performing a short skit, an original comedy routine, a special skill like hula hooping, magic tricks, singing, etc. Be creative!

• Students are encouraged to perform in group acts of 5 or less. Solo acts are also allowed. A student may perform one solo and one group act, but not two solo acts.

  • When considering partner acts and group acts, it will help tremendously for students to choose partners/groups of the same class or grade, siblings, etc.(who can practice during recess/free times or who can get together outside of school to practice.) 

• We would like to include ANY student in grades 3-5 who has planned and practiced their act, but we must limit the number of acts to fit a 90 minute show. Auditions do not guarantee a spot in the show, but do give all students a chance to perform for their class.

• 5th graders may opt to also audition for special "presenter" roles
