The three crucifixes are displayed in reference to when Jesus suffered and died on the cross with the two criminals beside him. Jesus still showed forgiveness and compassion to the two criminals while he was suffering. The girls wanted to express and showcase 'The Way of the Gospel' by creating scripture symbols, showing everyone that whatever situation we are in, we are all part of God's family and we are never alone.
