This piece depicts the beauty of the human body’s interior and exterior. The figures represent my three younger sisters. Their exposed internal systems highlight the idea that everyone is the same internally. The bright colours and vibrant patterns exclusive to each piece represent the contrasting personalities everyone has despite being equal internally. This use of colour and pattern was inspired by Jonathan Gemmell. I was also inspired by Henri Matisse and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
