This still life was created in two parts and represents the unique time that we lived through in 2021. The first part involved capturing the image during remote learning, using objects, lighting and equipment they could access from home. Students were inspired by Robert Mapplethorpe to explore the beauty of objects and shadows. On returning to school, students applied the photogravure technique to handprint their photos.
