I created this artwork as part of a Religious Education and Art interdisciplinary unit where we explored the Arts as a way of expressing and interpreting belief. I created this artwork using a paper-layering technique. It represents Mary, Queen of Heaven. I have used symbols such as the 12 stars and a halo surrounding Mary to show her importance in heaven and in our lives.
