Inspired by a visit to Melbourne Museum's Indigenous gallery and an image from the City of Kingston website, students created a possum coat. At the start of each lesson, we acknowledged the Traditional Owners of the land. Students were able initially to identify what each symbol represented in their design, and then build this into their own panel piece. Due to remote learning, our Art teacher sewed the possum coat panels together at home.
