Body Image challenges the viewer to look past their imperfections and focus on their inherent beauty. The markings on the subject represent changes she wishes to make to her body through artificial manipulation. This invites a discussion about beauty standards, self-worth and why some women feel the need to undergo modifications to feel precious. The image was taken using a DSLR in a photography studio, manipulated in Adobe Photoshop and presented as an acrylic print.
