During NAIDOC Week 2021, the Foundation students explored the importance of building respectful relationships with the Traditional Owners of our land, the Australian Indigenous people, and with Jesus. They created their own message sticks, using Indigenous Australian symbols to give thanks to Traditional Owners. To further develop both our faiths and beliefs through the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, the message sticks were placed to form a crucifix.
