Through the theme of 'legacy', I decided to pay homage to my grandfather who I sadly lost last year. I was inspired by Dutch 18th century still-life paintings, and created two artworks that communicate and honour him through the food I associate with his memory and heritage, and the personal possessions he left behind that tell the story of his life. These artworks are intended to celebrate who he was and how he is remembered.
