These images are personal, intimate and meaningful as they are of my parents. The amount of texture used is important as both are monochromatic, and this accentuates and influences the textured look. The images are cropped close and show a level of contrast to bring focus to the detail and intimate nature of the work. The hands, although structured, is about relationship and strength of character. The other image shows the nature of manual work.
