Transience

The paintings depict the different stages of growing up, from the innocence of childhood to the complexity of the adult world, to the reminiscence in the twilight years. All three paintings are produced with oil on canvas. Through loose brushstrokes and expressionist colours, the paintings reinforce a surrealistic narrative on the realm and transience of living.
