The Great Ocean Road

This harmonious yet stimulating artwork was created using natural materials such as spices, lentils, papers and cotton wool. Macushla considered the elements in the landscape of the Great Ocean Road, drawing on the earthy, pure tones as well as the coarse and unforgiving textures. The downward viewpoint from a plane window captures the landscape’s angles and gives another complexity to this artwork.
