Sunshine Fields

Students looked at the work of Australian artist Julie Ryder, especially her Field of Flowers work. We discussed analogous colours and used pastels for the background. The students blended a warm colour and a cool colour for their creation. Then they used paint and implements to print onto the background, carefully placing the flowers onto the pastel work.
