Staggering Beauty

Inspired by the Northern Renaissance style, my oil painting explores the themes of inner-human connection and the desired notion to fulfil one's greed. Based on the lover of the famous Achilles, Patroclus is the centre of the movement, surrounded by individuals attempting to steal his love. Staggering Beauty depicts the perpetual motion of the flow of environmental elements converging towards Patroclus’ presence in the vast, bloodied fields of the Trojan War.
