Screen Icons

I created this to display some of my favourite actors from the Golden Age of film. I used acrylic paint to give my art the bright colours to connect to each person. Pink and red were used for Marilyn Monroe, referring to the Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend video, blue for Elvis’ favourite colour, and yellow, red and black for Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. They were and remain pop culture icons.
