Reflections

Showcasing feelings of sadness and despondency that arise from reflecting on people we love who are no longer living, the artwork depicts my dad, located on the moon and looking down on his ‘memories’. The print repeats physical reflections, such as the bodies in the water, to reinforce the metaphorical reflections of the central figure. Inspired by David Frazer, this artwork accentuates the loss and sorrow that can be generated from reminiscing.
