Canvas boards and pearlescent, acrylic paint. Students’ interpretations of a miracle in the sky varied from sun, comet, star and rainbow shapes interspersed with atmospheric gases, mist, clouds, dust and storms. To emphasise how each person saw the sky differently, we also included a blue sky to represent those who did not see the miracle. The choice of pearlescent paint was crucial to capturing the joyous sky that filled everyone with awe and wonder.
