My lino print Knife to the Gunfight is a stark depiction of urgency and crisis from the fragments of identity. The title itself speaks of being unprepared and unequipped in the confrontation of a challenging circumstance. By interchanging ‘a gunfight’ to ‘the gunfight’, there is more power and clarity that points to a specific event or obstacle in my current life.
