Ceramic Vases

Students constructed a hand-built ceramic vase. They researched a range of 20th century art and design periods and designed a selection of drawings inspired by traditional patterns, motifs and vessel shapes. The artwork was constructed using a slab method which was then embellished with surface decoration and glazed using a variety of colours. The final artwork is a beautifully constructed vessel referencing their chosen design or art period.
