"Casa"

Oil on stretched canvas. Casa examines the prevailing influence of Italian culture, which continues to shape future generations – generations such as mine. I completed this artwork in an impressionist style, using the repetition of brush strokes to evoke a feeling of transient reflection, amplifying the solace I find within my culture, and conveying the scene as a fond memory.
