Apparition

Acrylic on canvas board. Apparition provides a visual interpretation of death. The being depicted in my piece serves as a guide to and embodiment of the eternal rest that is death. He greets you calmly, his form fluctuating and hard to grasp. In his stillness you are calmed into silence and acceptance, dissipating from the land of the living and onto whatever lies beyond.
