Students created a wearable art bodice that represents their own personal style and aesthetic. They chose from the techniques of sewing, sculpture and assemblage to create their finished bodice and also had to incorporate a ‘found object’ in their piece. This enabled students to make links with the notion of fast fashion and waste in art and fashion, as well as draw on the idea of recycling and upcycling as a sustainable future for designers.
