Artist statement

As an Indigenous artist, I am interested in exploring themes that deal with my cultural identity through my work. Not only am I learning more about my culture in the process, but I hope to pass the same knowledge down to the audience and include them into the conversation of the presence of Indigenous People in society. All are welcome and I thank everyone who views my art and participates in the conversations my work aims to normalize. Kinanâskomitin.
