Isabella Camerino is a Filipina artist born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. She is a second year Fine Art student at MacEwan University, currently working towards her diploma, and hopes to earn her BFA in the future. Isabella works with concepts surrounding identity, femininity, sexuality, and race. She also typically works with video, photography, performance, and other digital mediums.

In terms of my work, I’m typically informed and inspired by my experiences and feelings. A lot of my work stems from my identity and exploring those ideas. As of right now, I’ve been interested in exploring my femininity, womanhood, my culture, and being a BIPOC woman. Aesthetic-wise, I have always been very interested in and heavily influenced by fashion, drag culture, and makeup trends.
